Registration is now open for a bus for the 2014 March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, Jan. 22. The bus will leave the diocesan center at 55 Joy Drive, South Burlington, on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 6:30 p.m. with stops in Vergennes and Fair Haven. It will arrive in Washington the next day for the rally, Holy Mass and march. It will arrive back in Burlington early in the morning of Thursday, Jan. 24. The mission of the Vermont Right to Life Committee is to achieve universal recognition of the sanctity of human life from conception through natural death. In pursuit of that mission, VRLC, through peaceful, legal means, seeks changes in public opinion, public policy, the law, and individual behavior that respect the right to life and reject abortion, euthanasia, and other actions that deny the right to life.
