I think to myself sometimes about how lucky I am to have a grandpa that loves and cares for me. I do not know what I would do if he had never been born. Life is special, and we should use it wisely. My grandpa, Beepie, helps me in every way he can, whether it’s finishing homework or making hard decisions. He always encourages me and has a funny story or joke to tell. I am glad he was born because he gives me hope and joy.
I will always be grateful that he was born because he teaches me about the world. For example, he took me on my first trip over the sea to London, and I learned all about the British way of life and saw many historical sites. He also took me on a transatlantic cruise with my mom, and one of the nights we were there we went down to the ballroom to a gala. He planned to sit down and not dance at all, but I got him to dance. It was an unforgettable night. I will always remember the bright lights of the ballroom and the smile on my grandpa’s face.
I am very glad that he was born because he always knows the right thing to do. If I am feeling sad he knows a way to get me back on my feet. When my parents do not know what to say to make me feel better Beepie always has the right answer and can make me happy when know one else can.
I am very happy Beepie was born because he helps me decide the right choice when I am faced with a problem. When my Mom told me that I was switching schools I did not know what to think or feel. I wanted to be excited, but I would really miss my old friends and the teachers. The new school was really hard work, and I had more homework and many tests. For the first few months of school I was far behind everyone else, so I had to work extra hard to keep up. Beepie helped me through it all and never left my side. I do not know what I would do without him. I am so lucky he was born!
