The Annual Addison County Right to Life Chapter Dinner was a big success this year, bringing nearly 80 pro-lifers together with the theme “Cheering for Life Together.” Held at St. Peter’s Church Hall in Vergennes, a delicious meal was prepared and served by the Knights of Columbus. Brette Tucker shared her beautiful singing voice and area pastors were in attendance to lead us in prayer. Also, in attendance, was Lucien Paquette, who despite taking a fall this past winter, made it to the dinner, walker and all! Lucien, at 100 years of age, is our oldest, active pro-lifer and his dedication to the cause of life is strong – he is a sign of our endurance and perseverance! By all accounts, the Addison County Chapter is upholding the sanctity of human life in their community and keeping the grassroots pro-life message “alive.”
Our Mission
The mission of the Vermont Right to Life Committee is to achieve universal recognition of the sanctity of human life from conception through natural death. In pursuit of that mission, VRLC, through peaceful, legal means, seeks changes in public opinion, public policy, the law, and individual behavior that respect the right to life and reject abortion, euthanasia, and other actions that deny the right to life.
