Brenda Pepin, a long-time staff member of the Vermont Right to Life Committee, passed away on June 5, 2017. Her loss is being deeply felt by her family, VRLC, and all those who knew her. Brenda was a true friend to the unborn and to the pro-life movement in our State. Brenda was solely responsible for organizing the “Baby Bootie Project” in churches all across the State of Vermont.
Brenda was also Chair of the Washington County Chapter of Vermont Right to Life, organizing the annual Washington County Right to Life Chapter Dinner held each spring, as well as hosting the Rally for Life luncheon each January.
A more complete tribute to Brenda’s work will be published in the next issue of VRLC’s newsletter, The Review.
Brenda was proud to stand up for the sanctity of human life and organized a public witness in front of Planned Parenthood’s abortion facility in Barre on the third Saturday of each month. In Brenda’s honor, her family has asked VRLC to invite pro-lifers to attend a peaceful, prayerful vigil at the Planned Parenthood facility in Barre at 90 Washington Street on Saturday, June 17th. Please join us at any time from 11:00am to 12:00pm for this vigil in her honor. Signs will be provided. Please allow time to find parking on the street.
Following the vigil in Barre, there will be a celebration of her life at 1:00pm at the Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church.
